Dozer In Action

Our method for mining limestone has not changed over time. The D8 Dozer uncovers the limestone by removing and storing the topsoil in long wind rows, then the area is ripped, and the extracted limestone is pushed up ready for crushing. Once crushed, the Dozer will come through and re-spread the overburden and topsoil, with the ground re-contoured to a flat plain as part of our rehabilitation process.
