Scherer Contractors requires a Heavy Earthmoving Equipment/Truck Mechanic for its workshop in Renmark, South Australia. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Repairs, Servicing and Testing to company vehicles, Trucks, Trailers and Heavy Earthmoving Equipment

• Diagnostic and Preventative Maintenance and Initiatives

• Attend Breakdowns when required

• Assist Management and fellow team members.

• Maintaining a safe working environment in the Workshop

• To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience;

• A current complete Australian recognized trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Experience and Qualification in Truck Mechanical and Heavy Earthmoving Equipment.

• Car license as a minimum however a heavy vehicle license would be advantageous.

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing general mechanical faults.

• Medically fit and prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening Ability to comply with company procedures and policies
